If you ask me: the "Art"; component of water photography is mostly due to a combination of the dynamism of the rider, the natural beauty and power of the elements, and the photographer being there to capture the action at the critical time. The elements and the subject of the photo deserve more credit than the photographer... I am just happy to be a part of the process.
